The Birds
So, for I don't remember what celebration-I was given a bird feeder. About 2 months ago we ran out of bird seed and continued to forget to pick some more up. While in Lowes the other day they had a 10lb bag, yes TEN, for sale that was ment for us to buy, and here's why.
So as a homeschooling family, we are completely glued to our sliding glass door watching every bird in the neighborhood fly to our feeder. It's worse than an airport, I actually had to set up a second plate for the non perching type birds for fairness. Unfortunately I have yet to photograph the dozen of birds that sit and wait as for when I open the door they all scare away. However, this one kind of bird is super photogenic (I'm guessing a finch or a titbird)...

So many frequent fliers here, I had to modify the bird feeder so that I can add as many seeds as possible. I've seriously filled up the feeder 3 times in the last 5 days!!! And to add to my dilemma- I got a wide lens for my birthday, and for this kind of photography I could use a telephoto lens!!
Go figure.

Sums It Up
This sums up my day- do you ever have one of those days where all you see and hear is this in your face?

30
30 isn't so bad. I've honestly had mixed emotions about this age. Until a recent conversation with Mark, I was sort of bummed. 30 seemed to be a turning point-"on the way" to getting old. Not old, not getting old, but on the way. Luckly Mark reminded me that I have a lot of things to show for my 30 years. The next tough part to this is, how can I out do these years in my next 30?
