Summer Challenge

I've challenged the boys to take a "summer challenge". I've assigned point values to everything (school review, chores, etc.) and they accumulate them to trade in for prizes. They met their first challenge and got to stay up late on Sunday. Mark worked late but the exciting part was that they got to stay up until he got home. While we were suppose to be star gazing with the telescope, we decided to have some camera fun. Hayden and Logan both enjoy taking photographs...so yes I broke down and actually allowed them to use my digital, and I will admit they are getting really good. We all were given a specific direction on what role we were to take on. Can you guess them?

My Little Ragamuffin

All 3 kids LOVE Ria!

So about 28 years or so ago my nickname "Ragamuffin" was given to me by my mom's hairdresser, Maria. The story goes something like this-after Maria would cut my hair minutes later my hair would be a mess, which left Maria calling me her little ragamuffin.

Maria gets to be honoree for all big events, my first hair cut, my bridal up do, Hayden's first haircut, Logan's first haircut and now Addie's. But some how none of my kids have managed to take on my title. All three of them were perfect for Maria. Grammy was convinced payback was on it's way Although, Addie's hair isn't long enough yet to really make an official call. Having a little girl just seems to follow suit to taking on the title. It has been three generations Maria has managed to be honoree to. XOXO-We love you "Ria"!
